Golic likes to :beatdeadhorse5: with the #2 WR thing :D

Since '05, we haven't had a #2 WR, I think the dead horse beating is Fox continuing to IGNORE that position... Golic has a valid point to continue to beat that dead horse.. it's pathetic..

And this year we had an opportunity to make that happen...

but didn't we bring in more guys? its definitely an issue not to be ignored, but to say he ignored it this year would be false

well we have re-signed Moose, acquired Key, and even taken a big heir-apparent in DJ to replace them both.

We really have not had much of a braniac under center to find a number two or three on the field anyway and have shored up the O-line and offensive backfield to compensate for that.

I think we are entering a new era of sorts and it is starting off perfectly with multiple young passers and multiple young receivers all chomping at the bit. Can't really ask for more than that.

As far as offensive talent goes, Carolina has shown repeatedly that they would rather develop it than buy it. I think our deck is stacked for success this year. We jsut have to understand that success does not mean we will go undefeated and pitch a shutout in the SB.

If you don't have a successful roster full of proven veterans the next best thing you can have is a roster full of unproven talents that are starving for an opportunity.

Any news about the Panthers is pretty pessimistic. We watch it so that when our team actually does good, we can laugh in their faces.

Isn't that how it is every other year?

When we fly below the radar, we ultimately go to the playoffs, and when we are right smack in the middle of the radar, for whatever reasons we crash and burn.

11-5 is what he should've stuck with. I actually think we'll get off to an overachieving start, say 5-0, 6-0... then we stumble a little bit down the road, but finish with 11 wins. We're talking about a team that finished 3rd in the league in rushing last year, with one of, if not, the worst quarterback play in the league. I honestly don't think Matt Moore will do worse than 8 TDs & 18 INTs, I just don't see that happening. All they're asking him to do is manage the game. Make a few dink and dunks here and there, and then we're just gonna run it the other 85% of the time. And so what if they stack 8 or 9 in the box... put 10 in there, see if J-Stew and DW can't run 'em over... they did it all last season. "Neither will cross 1,000 yards..." Are you serious??? With DW in his prime, and J-Stew coming into his own in his 3rd season... both will hit 1500 yards. The MIKE & MIKE show is a joke, come on!!!
