Listened to alot of games on Sirus. Mixon is hands down the worst Home team announcer. Would have loved Gary Hann (SP) from state. Mick wasnt that good at UNC. His voice is as scary as a scretching nun. Never do CP Radio. I now listen to oppossings teams broadcast on sirus

You guys have a lot of hate for that man. I think he's alright. He's not the greatest announcer out there, but certainly he's not worthy of the insults you guys constantly throw at him.

I was one of those "cheap shot-ers" when we lost Bill, hell they were using his voice overs for Panther intros into 2009, but have come to see Mixon as a good man, who is liked by the team. I saw him in the team's corrider at FF and was quite taken by his almost gaunt appearence. Is he ill? He seemd to be weak.

I have some issues with his inability to confront Fox et al, but remember he works for the organization..NOT the N&O or CO! For that you have to give the guy some room, and while Rosinsky was a flamboyant guy..he was the closest thing I'd seen since Limbaugh! His (Bil's)(comp?) Oyster was

As much flack as Mixon gets, I would genuinely like to know how many of you Panthers fans listen to the radio every week.

I would turn down the TV during the game and just listen to the radio even with the 4 second delay but now I cant stand it dont even bother getting the radio out....I met Bill he was cool as hell he drew a bigger crowd at one point then Jake did at the Caravan Tour many moons ago.

One of the problems Richardson had with Rosinski was that he wasn't afraid to tell it like it was. If the team played like crap, he told you that they were playing like crap. He wasn't going to sugarcoat the truth.

And while we're on this topic, for those that haven't read it, Tales From the Carolina Panthers is Bill's book about his time in Carolina. It really sheds some light on how/why he was let go I thought. Plus it's a really good read that is sure to bring back some good, and some not so good memories for those that have followed the team from the beginning.

Good read. Mentions the moment in Panther history captured in my signature, as well.
