We definitely need to try something different. To me, Munnerlyn and Sutton are below average...which is awesome when compared to the rest of our group.

To me, AE is done as a returner. I wanna see Witherspoon/New Guy compete for the job now...

How about a new ST staff? But for the short term, I would say find someone.

We need help in the worst way.

Tonight's poor ST play had absolutely nothing to do with the coaches. These were not scheme issues.....these guys just can't catch the damn ball.

Just what are you looking for? Someone to take it back for a TD every return? As long as they catch the ball and get a few yards they will be more than fine. As they say, it is a game of field position. I'd rather have a consistent returner who gets x number of yards instead of one who gets little-to-none but breaks a big one every now and then.

Edwards probably killed any chance he had of being activated this season.

That's the sad part. I don't mean to be critical only into the 2nd preseason game...but AE looked uncomfortable enough for Zod/Gantt to talk about stashing him on PS way back during training camp. And from what I've seen in the 1st game and heard in tonight's game, he is just not a returner.

Witherspoon, Goodson, somebody new...

      I agree.  I don’t think I have ever been accused of being a Howell fan. No more than fan of some other random QB.   But I watched and I saw. He has some talent. Maybe I didn’t watch close enough to see his weaknesses.

      He is a pit bull when it comes to that.  And after he missed out last year on Williams, it seems he is trying a different approach, looks like. Don’t hold back. No half measures, because someone will come and full measure your ass. Close the deal. He left a little opening for The Patriots last year.  He closed so far this year. Of what we know about.

      They have been doing the mercenary one year RB now for a little while. Foreman..  It works pretty well. You can find ball carriers. The passing game trips a lot of those guys up. Pass blocking, route running, they have a lot to know.    Rico wasn’t a great pass blocker but he got in the way most of the time. He is a really good pass catcher.     He’s tough. Needs to find out why he was cramping late in the games. If he can fix that maybe can step up even more. Wish him luck. I think he’ll do well.    If Brooks can be something, what a bonus that would be at this point.  I really believe they went for him because of his extra layer with being a good receiver. And we need more of that with what we are working with trying to move the ball.
