TN ST's are going to burn our ass Saturday night. Wonder if this problem will be corrected this week ? I hjope this ST situation is not John Fox's down fall.

as long as your telling the future.. could you let me know what the next lotto numbers will be?

We were quite good at return coverage last year, and if the preseason is any indication, I'd say we've taken a step back.

There's a lot of youth all over special teams right now, and it's showing.

lol.

3rd worst on kickoff return coverage as far as return yardage allowed and 4th worse on punt return yardage allowed.

we were 19th on kickoff coverage drive start average. average drive start when lloyd didn't kick a touchback was at their 29.6...4th worst in the league.

    • Does this mean only topics from within the last year or any topics with posts from the last year? i.e. if there are any old threads we feel should be kept around for whatever reasons, would a bump of that thread before the update ensure it's kept around in full or do the posts from more than a year old still disappear?
    • I'm more intrigued at him becoming our future LG. There were some people who thought he was better suited to be a guard in the NFL to begin with.  Then if Freeling ends up being a legit LT, moving Ickey to LG could give us an incredibly strong left side of our OL for years to come. Ickey has only played on the Left side his whole career, both in college and the NFL, so I just wonder if keeping him on the left side, even if shifting inside, would be better than putting him outside on the right side. Just hoping him growing up a Panthers fan will make him want to stay here and move positions than enter FA so he can stay at LT somewhere else, particularly since LT is the big money position on the OL, so he likely can get paid more by someone else to play LT than play LG or RT here for us.
