preseason doesnt matter?

marcopolo

Not worried that we havent scored a single TD yet?

Dallas, a team that was #2 in total offense last season, and is supposed to have one of the best offenses in the league this coming season has only scored 1 offensive touchdown with the starters playing in 4 games.

not worried at all.

Looking back the preseason stats.

The giants were 1st in total D in 2006, they finished 25th.

The Ravens were 1st in 2007, the finished 6th.

The bucs were 1st in 08, they finished 9th(even after that monday night beatdown)

No preseason stats for 2009.

In 2010 we are 1st through 3 games if i added things up right.

That's just total yards though. I need to look at yards per play probably for more accurate predictions.

In this thread people used fact-based arguments against marcopolo and are dismayed when he doesn't respond in kind.

Also there was a guy behind me in a Titans jersey wearing a Tar Heels hat. What kind of gaywad pulls for that team combination

Probably just drafted Chris Johnson in Fantasy Football last week....did it look like a new Titans jersey...?

1. I didn't say you were PantherBob

As for other people, if it smells like poo and looks like poo...well

It actually looked like it had taken at least a year's worth of beatings from his dryer.

Meh you should have punched him in the face, told him to get with the program and buy a Shaun Gamble or Marcus Witherspoon jersey.....

    • Bryce and Dave will determine how many games this team wins next year. It’s not on the WRs. The RBs. LBs. This is about 2 things: 1. Can Bryce continue to come up big in the few key downs that decide most games?  2. Can Canales evolve his play calling to counter punch like the big boys do. Half time adjustments.  teams that score 30+ points on the regular win more games than not. That’s on Bryce and Dave. The offense is top 10 at every position group, save for TE and QB. A baller TE is gravy but not crucial when the receivers are dudes.  The defense is the defense. It’ll be better this season, hopefully by a large margin, but Dave/Bryce is really where it’s at.
    • Normally I'd wholeheartedly agree with this. But I feel like teams figured out this offense after the Raiders game. Bryce was so inept the first 2 games that we couldn't really even run the offense. Dalton's first game showed what we had. But after that game, coverages got a lot tighter and windows were smaller. When Bryce came back in, his ability to extend plays made a big difference. It's really difficult to stop a QB that can beat/escape 1on1 tacklers. It puts a lot of pressure on the defense when you blitz. And he was completing throws in tight coverage with anticipation. Point being Bryce wasn't throwing to wide open receivers that were schemed open by the offense. Occasionally yes. But not often.
    • With the additions we've made to our roster combined with the state of the division and the conference as a whole there is no excuse for this team not to make a legitimate push for 8-9 wins. Anything less is honestly inexcusable. There will be no more free passes for being a doormat in this iteration of the league where even mediocre teams are competing for playoff spots.
