Laveranues Coles and Antonio Bryant have been cut

Why should we go after him? It's obvious he'll never get on the field, if not the Bengals would've never cut him. Also Coles is old and washed up! Didn't we just get rid of a group of old and washed up guys? Why would we go out and get another one who hasn't produced in over 4 years. There's a reason why Coles has played for 3 or 4 teams in the last 2 years. You guys kill me with that fantasy football poo!

Honestly all this should stop here. Because we know for fact unless the WR core gets hit with a rash of injuries all of a sudden. Don't even think Fox and Hurney to go out and get another WR unless we really need it bad. Fox will stick with what we have for the rest of the season hands down.:cornut:

Not true, the Bengals have two established super star WRs as well as a pretty good rookie in Shipley. We have a superstar who's going to have to break his neck to get open because none of the other receivers on the team all up to snuff. If we pick Bryant up he would get on the field. Trust me.

the Panthers could use a good Fantasy Football WR, you know, one that catches TDs and gets a lot of yards.

Let's all be clear! The Bengals didn't cut AB because of performance they cut him because he's injured. A 2010 injury free AB is better than a 2010 injury free TO, that's why they signed him over TO in the start of free agency, but the guy is damaged goods and will not see the field.

Yeah I hope we keep Gettis on the active roster b/c he's gonna surprise some people. After last night and seeing stuff from him in college, I still think Trent Guy should make it over K. Moore and possibly Jarrett as well.

But, if the Bengals let go of Matt Jones, Caldwell, Shipley, or Jerome Simpson, I want us to jump all over it... Simpson is going to be a player if he gets an opportunity.

    • This is huge may not be a trap game but this plays a major part in what they want to do. If we can get some pressure on Sam we know what he does with pressure coming hit and heavy. Also we may be able to take the top off their defense a backup safety trying to stop TMac or Cooker over the top or forcing him to play the backend should allow us to run the ball somewhat effectively. Either they allow some runs or we take some shots and if Bryce and whoever can connect deep we’ll be in business for another big time win against a top notch opponent. Might not be a trap game but health travel game plans all play a major role in each weeks game plan and this week might be leaving our way. We’re missing some replaceable pieces they’re missing key anchors to the offense and defense major difference time to solidly ourselves at one of the top teams in the nfc tomorrow fellas buckle up.
    • Yes.  If I am not mistaken, we need to sign Coker to the ERFA tender and insist that XL spends his spring and summer at a WR camp and not Coon huntin on his four wheeler.  XL was raw when we picked him--which is why I wanted to go another direction--and we are seeing how raw.  He is basically learning a position.     The Panthers will make their move in 2026 to be an NFL powerhouse behind Bryce.  Bryce needs intelligent WRs who catch the ball.  That said, we need a solid #2 to challenge XL and make cutting him easy, if necessary.  A #2 WR (intented to be a #1 by now) with under 400 yards is embarrassing.   On offense, you have to ask, "Where can we get better?"  In my view, #2 WR, TE (although they are improving) and maybe C (again, if we re-sign Mays, he is trending up and at 26, entering his prime--I say stay with him and find competition later in the draft (not good for C).  OL depth maybe?  In other words, XL is a glaring weak spot.
