Panthers hiding from awful truth

If our Oline stalls this year we are done... Point blank like any team would be in our situation.

Yep. This is the only thing that I'm worried about. Our WR's, QB's and HB's will be fine even if we are inexperienced in certain spots, but our O-Line is supposed to be elite. They certainly haven't looked that way this preseason.

Yeah no poo, I find it somewhat disturbingly ironic thus far that the biggest question mark on our defense, the DLine, has been dominat-ing and our normally badass "elite" OLine has pretty much been getting dominat-ed.

However, I'm not too worried about them...yet.

I think once Otah's back we'll start to see them gel into the solid cohesive unit that we saw last season. Once that happen's they'll start knocking opposing Dlinemen on their asses again and blowing them off the ball play after play. If they get the running game going again, Dwill and JStew gonna blow up the league for 2500+ combined this season! :D LET'S GO PANTHERS!

(By Scott Fowler, [email protected]) p/ After listening to the Carolina Panthers talk about their offense in the aftermath of Saturday nighamp;squo;s exhibition, I heard a lot of words that sounded semi-truthful and one word that was exactly right./p

Fowler really just wasted 5 minutes of my life just to tell me the obvious... the offense is unacceptable.... thanks captain obvious, wanna clue me in on something i don't know that a professional writer should know? like how much time they are actually spending to fix it... wait nevermind... that involves work.

Smitty, Stew, and Otah are CRITICAL components to this offense. However, it is not likely that the switch is just flipped for the regular season and the woes end. The denfense WILL have to carry this team early.

The biggest concern for me on offense is not the physical play of the team. We were able to move the ball once Davidson got his head out of his ass and had decent play calling. The biggest concern is the mistakes and penalties. They have killed any offensive momentum that this team had developed. And that is unacceptable. This is a veteran and excellent Oline....they need to clean this up, or it will be a long season.

Davidson is now upstairs in the booth and John Fox now roams the sidelines looking down at the microphone box while pushing the button to talk to the booth. He did this all night Saturday.

This is a John Fox offense, I don't care if it's Davidson upstairs, Henning upstairs or Norm Chow upstairs- it's going to look the same. The non-existent offense lies at the feet of the 2011 non-existent head coach.
