Armanti Edwards and the wildcat...

The Wildcat could work with a guys like Edwards since he was a QB and played that all through college. I never understood the wildcat with a guy who is not a threat at throwing the ball, Edwards could throw a kink in a defensive plan because he could run the ball or throw the ball. That is why the wildcat works and has worked for the Dolphins because Brown can and will throw the football.

Wish we still had Henning. His offense there has been improving since he arrived. Ours has been deflating since he left.

we had the 10th overall offense in 2008...Jake just had turnover issues. that was the year our defense was strong, and then went to poo. If you look from 2005-2007 we were in the 20s

I doubt very seriously if we use a wildcat formation with WR/KR Armanti Edwards as the trigger man...However,i can't help but wonder how it would turn out,if we did try it.

If we ever decide to try it, hopefully,we will have built a good lead because who knows how that type of experiment would turn out.

They ran a play on 3rd and long called the "Mountaineer" package. Ran AE to the short side, did not pick up the first round. Interesting look, but he's already lined up at QB/ wildcat."

I don't understand why we're wasting time with it.

Give Armanti some reps at WR, and our offense, well, an oppurtunity to move the ball downfield.

The playcalling has been more about "seeing what we got"rathern than moving the ball downfield.

I understand it's preseason, but there comes a point when moving the ball downfield IS "seeing what you got"
