Fox Says: Moore Still the Starter

Moore is starting unless the doctors say otherwise.

On the Clausen controversy: Sure, Clausen had second string players around him, but guess who he was playing against most of the time. He has a real shot to be great some day, but let's not rush him in. This is still Moore's team.

The offense was not bad in the first half at all in my opinion. It was not great, no, but it wasn't terrible for early season and barring one terrible decision I thought it moved the ball decently well against a good defense. In the second half we abandoned our game plan so we could kill our quarterback. It was clearly a great idea.

It is what it is. I foresee Moore playing better next game, but it isn't hard to play better than he did in the second half yesterday.

Benching Moore would be too hasty but I'm all for Jimmy starting this week. Might as well use him. It's a good game for Moore to miss. Let him prep for the Bengals next week.

I know they're often mistaken for one another on here but actually, the Panthers and Matt Moore are not the same thing...one plays for the other...so I can be loyal to the team while not agreeing.

^^^Not saying Jimmy should start next week or anytime soon. But I think Moore is going to have to adjust to teams now scouting and developing a game plan around stopping him. Right now, the other teams 1, matty - zero. ftw
