im saying matt moore is good and he does good so we can trade him for a early second and mostly like we will have 8-8 season so we will have pick 16 and get michael floyd a big fast 6'3 reciever from notre dam who average 27.5per catch as a sophomore in 2009 before his he broke his collarbone.and early second round grab terrel pryor and rest of rounds work on defense and o-line and in mini camp let terrel, jimmy, and tony battle it out for the starting job

Putting faith in a QB that uses his legs more than his arm and head is nearly the same as buying a new car because of it's radio.

It's a perk. Nothing more, nothing less.

I am not a Pryor fan by any means at all but he is showing flashes in the passing game and he definitely running less this season. He only ran a lot against Miami because the ball was wet and they were trying to kill the clock.

Jake Locker, Andrew Luck, Ryan Mallet and you choose Pryor.........we might as well have traded for Michael Vick....wait a tic that's a great idea. You should start a thread about Michal Vick in the Panthers section, I'm sure you would get a really positive reception from fellow Huddlers

I don't think he was serious. We still have Matt Moore and we just drafted Jimmy Clausen and Tony Pike. Also, take into account that Pryor is going to stay for his Senior season at OSU and we shouldn't even be having conversations about this until after next season.

No, he was serious. He posted two threads about it the other day.

    • No one way to do it, it does appear that with the bigger draft picks of the last 5 years…..majority haven’t steered clear of young QBs on the roster being their hopeful guy. Especially past their rookie seasons but even some the biggest ones have had it early.   As far as Andy Dalton, the two young guys he has “mentored”…..have had very rough NFL starts.  Which really ask the why the heck is Dalton here.   He doesn’t really check any box.  No young potential.  Can’t step in and win.  And his mentor track record with Fields and now Bryce is bad
    • I had thought the Panthers might let him play out his contract this year and hope he stays healthy. If not draft a left tackle and move Ekwonu to right tackle.
    • Frankly, if most teams in the NFL lose their starting QB for a significant amount of time, they're screwed. The fantasy is that one has a future Tony Romo or a Nick Foles that can carry a stacked team. The reality is that you might get roughly 3~5 games out of your backup before it all falls apart. Remember all of Peyton Manning's backups? Utterly terrible. Speaking of backup QB's, Raiders may need one. https://www.nfl.com/news/raiders-qb-aidan-o-connell-suffered-fractured-wrist-in-preseason-finale-expected-to-be-out-6-8-weeks
