Agree with the Sutton being active if he can go. Edwards can only do returns and kinda play WR. Sutton is RB/FB/ST

i would say the opposite. looked better at reciever than returns. problem is that doing returns is the only way he's going to see the field.

Martin is a gunner on special teams. I doubt we'd use Edwards in that capacity, so I don't see why he'd be activated if we're going to continue to use Munnerlyn and Goodson at punt and kick returns, respectively.

Will Lafell having a bad game. I wouldn't be surprised to see Edwards get the nod this week with Lafell being deactivated.

For the record I said "wouldn't be surprised". I don't actually think this will happen, but it wouldn't surprise me.

Personally hoping Jordan Senn can go.

Even if Martin is okay, it's still possible you could see Edwards active. He could go in place of LaFell or Jarrett. Better to have a mix than two of the same guy.

With LaFell being named the starter last week, you could rightly expect Jarrett to be the guy that gives up his spot for Edwards. But of course, the team could still decide to give Jarrett his 57th "second chance".

I don't think they'll throw Edwards in. They're still trying to see if LaFell or Jarrett is the No. 2, and we need to find that out quickly. I am one of the biggest anti-Jarrett guys on this board, but he showed more than LaFell did (which, after being in the league three years, is to be expected).

LaFell isn't going to get any better by sitting him. We've committed ourselves to youth at that position, and now we've got to take our lumps.

If Sutton is good, then I'd like to see him get the nod over anyone. If Jarrett is also deactivated (not seeing this one, but if he is...), I'd rather see Gettis in than AE.. let the kid learn WR a little more first.

Plus, I'm dying to see how Gettis is in game situations.

But wait.. Didnt you read that long thread by CRA about Godfrey sucking in his 3rd year and needing to be replaced, even though he has done somethings on the field.. yet in the Preseason defended Jarrett more than his own Mother did with the aspirations of Fox saying "He has done good when he seen the field?" 3 years, 1td.. The experiment should be over.

The only player I would like to see pulled completely is Godfrey... he just flat out sucks. Jarrett at least has the redeeming quality of being able to catch the ball when he finally gets open. I was at the Saints game last year and got to see that amazing catch he made from the front row.. and omg, I was floored. Even more so that it was DJ making it

But yeah... Godfrey needs to be yanked quickly and put Pugh in his spot or something.
