Sorry I'm kind of an idiot when it comes to these kind of things but um is 900 a lot left over? Do Panthers game generally sell out? Like I said I'm a huge Panthers fan but don't really have the money to go to games.

I honestly can't remember the last time a game was blacked out. I know it happened in '95, but I can't remember a time it didn't air locally since they went to Ericsson/Bank of America. Even the 1-15 season was technically sold out.

I see no humor in this. There are plenty of us that can't afford to go to the game that faces not being able to see the game if the TV stations don't come in and buy the tickets.

What? Potential blackouts? Not overall. That means the team sucks and I don't like that. I DO like the fact that Richardson's cost-cutting measures are what made the team so crappy...and that's what's going to cost him even more money with low ticket sales.

I think it's more the economy than this team being average. Now, if we do what we did in NY this Sunday...then it'll start to get ugly. I've been to every game the past six years and I've yet to ever see the stadium empty. I can't imagine what it was like during the 1-15 season. I bet you could yell to someone across the other side of the stadium and be heard.
