Panthers Media Coverage is TERRIBLE!!!!

There are some teams that have reporters who could tell you when the last time any player took a crap and how it looked, and here we are, with a fresh QB controversy and not a peep. Not a single article on Fox saying anything on who was going to start next week, not a single quote from the players. It is sad when the only info you have on the team is over twitter with darring gantt every other hour. What the hell Charlotte?

Move to Charlotte, watch the 30 min highlight show tonight after the local NBC news, be happy. It's the best highlight show around. Locker room interviews, coach interview, in depth talk from Minter, highlights of the game from different angles, etc.

If you can't move here, be patient? Twitter is automatic. The Observer takes time to get their stories out. I got home from the game an hour afterward and the online version had five articles up. But yeah, no interviews yet.

Im not joking, does anyone know anything about what John Fox said in the press conference?

There was a discussion of it on the radio today that I was listening to on the way home. One of the 610 am guys ask him why if he had decided to run the ball at then end did he have his two first round draft picks sitting on the bench on second and third down. Fox answered that he only remembered fourth down when Stewart ran.

He was also asked who would start next week at QB. He gave a vague answer.

He was asked about the identity of this team, and said he didn't know (honest answer that one).

Fact: Most people nationwide don't want to read, see, or hear any news regarding teams that suck ass.

Write that down.

    • The good thing about replacing a bad player is you really have nothing to lose. If their replacement is bad so what, you didn't get much worse and probably saved money.
    • I came over from the old Panthers Insider site. When Fox Sports bought that platform it slowly just started dying plus the guy who ran that site was dealing with some pretty significant health issues so the whole thing just slowly fell apart. Quite a few of us migrated over here. Not sure how many are still around.  I miss that place. It struck a nice balance of having enough active posters to keep productive conversation flowing but didn't have so much traffic that you end up with a lot of trolling BS. This place is getting there though since we shutdown new registrations but at some point we're going to have to open it back up or we'll watch this place slowly die off too as posters fall off for one reason or another. We just have to figure out a way to filter out the spam bots. It was a never ending battle to ban the spam bots to keep then from overrunning the site. You'd think they'd be a little more strategic. I mean, if you fill a site with nothing but spam people are just going to stop coming so it's not a sustainable model. But nope, every one of them makes dozens of duplicate threads filling up pages upon pages as soon as their account goes live.
    • lol...I don't remember that.  Although recalling what I had for breakfast yesterday is sometimes a challenge.  Hope it was a positive thing.
