was us picking up taylor a sign of things to come. getting another speed rusher for the outside in a similar mold as peppers. (less athletic but he might have more heart which could mean the difference between good and great) I wonder did our staff have an idea that this was coming after last season..

please don't let them be planning to replace a #2 pick with a 7th rounder.

Ironic how some folks on here say Pep wont make a good OLB, when half the time he was dropping into coverage trying to defend RB's, and TE's going into the flat. I agree that Fox/Turdo missused Peppers, so its Fox's fault for the scheme.

Pep would be a monster in New England, Baltimore, or Pittsburgh.

F*CK FOX. OFF WITH HIS HEAD. PIECE OF SH*T.

"we haven't held players back" ??????????????????????????????

BULLsh*t YOU F*CKING IDIOT.

DEANGELO WILLIAMS. JOVAN HAYE. TONY BROWN. THE LIST GOES ON.

Like I posted in another one of these threads...the Panthers ended up with 34 sacks, which is the same number that the Ravens had, and they have much better defensive talent than we do. You, and many others here are overreacting to one bad game, just like always.

That only proves that sacks are overrated.

Tell DeAngelo Williams, Matt Moore, Dwayne Jarrett, Jovan Haye, and Tony Brown that we have never held anyone back...

Dont forget Thomas Davis, and Lucas to some extent. Fox is too arrogant to look in the mirror and accept responsibility for this mess.

this is all pure garbage......i love how pep bashing is acceptable, but as soon as there's a get rid of jake thread you will be immediately be call a dumbass and ask to leave the forum.

BULLSHIT,pep has done his part.why don't you blame the coaching staff or the rest of the d-line.if your not getting pressure with four then you need to bring more fire.plus you let me know a de that get's his sacks like Julius does(without much help from lb'cb'fs'ss'or the rest of the line)?none come to mind do they.so stfu bashin the man when you know damn well that he did his part,i bet if he threw 5 ints in one game he'd be pardon from all his mistakes.

    • I honestly can’t believe this team’s turnaround this season. It’s surreal. Figured healthy we’d be fringe playoffs and with another lottery pick could finally turn the corner, but we don’t even need that. This group is ready. We haven’t played remotely well the last 5 games and yet still blew out 5 bad teams by 16+ each game like it was casual practice. We had a few solid teams with Kemba and Big Al but this is easily our best group since the original Hornets moved to NO. Man, what a shift in culture this new ownership group and front office has brought. So damn happy to see it after years of suffering and consistently meaningless games in this stretch of previous seasons.   Only 2.5 games out of the 6 seed, although Miami, Atlanta and Orlando have been playing well too. Gonna be a fun final stretch, hopefully we can get a top 8 seed at the very least. Celtics tomorrow will be a good test. Would be huge to keep the road winning streak up against a very hot top team on the 2nd half of a back to back. We’ve played Boston pretty well the last few years with much of this same group despite sucking so I do feel pretty good about it. Kon is due for a huge game coming off a few cold shooting games (although despite the poor shooting he’s been contributing well with defense, assists and rebounds).
    • It amazes me how underrated Horn has become after he finally was able to stay on the field. Sure last year wasn’t perfect but he was still a huge reason for our rebound defensively and I’d say he’s easily a top 10 corner. You don’t want to see Mike Jackson as our top corner. Any player is available for the right price but I’d be extremely hesitant to move Horn even for a big haul from LA.
