Williams Trade Story (The Actual Source)

Yeah I know...I think the scary part is how believable this sounds...

Believable doesn't mean it's true though.

This post from his page doesn't exactly inspire confidence.

After much thought and careful consideration, I have decided to stop posting the O.T.S. Rumors. My reasoning is simple, I don't want to deal with the flack. After 6 years of reporting what I hear from certain sources I have obtained over my 8 years in radio, I feel it is time to stop them. I understand that every time I wrote a rumor (that didn't happen), I knew I would catch heat. I didn't care (for the most part), but after 6 years of answering the same question over and over again, I just am tired of it (to be real honest).

Makes it sound like he doesn't have a really good track record.

This is what happens when you're a young 0-3 team, everyone thinks you're gonna have a fire sale.

I don't see any scenario where we trade DeAngelo. I can tell you that sometimes teams open trade talks about a player they have no intention to trade simply to get their foot in the door so they can trade for something else...

Yea like a certain RB on our team that has not played any but was getting hype in preseason. We might have said we would not trade Sutton but with the emergence of Goodson it would make since.

From Arrigo's Twitter:

#Bills are getting antsy since D.Williams is being talked about in a deal w/ the #Packers. Look 4 a deal by the deadline involving Lynch

So he now believes that the Williams talk will force the Bills to move Lynch for less than they might have wanted.

Possible, but speculative (same thing I speculated in this thread).

I'm really questioning how much credence to give this guy.
