3 out of 4

Saints have one of the league's worst run defenses, and a below average pass defense right now. Anything is possible, but I won't lose sleep over this one.

Can't remember his name, but the Saint's safety said they were concerned about us getting our running game on track against them(just now on sirius)

We have won the last 3 out of 4 against the Saint's. We always play them close, and this game should be no different.

While the rivalry angle will play a part, it eventually comes down to the facts. The facts are that we don't measure up this year, did not measure up last year when it mattered, and will likely be embarrassed.

I look forward to the game though. I want to watch the young QB make strides and can't wait to see him jump in Gross's ass on television.

It's eventually going to happen.

The one we lost last year we should have one, so they don't scare me. They got their butt kicked this year by San Fran but won on the scoreboard. They never should be world champs because they had to win in overtime in the Nfc Championship game after getting 5 turnovers during regulation and couldn't close the deal. They are the champs, but champs that are lucky chumps!

Here is the thread where a 3-4 vs 4-3 comparision is brought up using the Pittsburgh Steelers of 2007.

Why Do Beason & Davis not fit the 3-4 scheme ?

Beason 6'0 237 Timmons 6'1" 234

Connor 6'2" 231 Farrior 6'2" 243

Davis 6' 0" 240 Harrison 6'0" 242

Size wise they look awful close to 3 0f the Steelers starting LB's

Hardy 6'4" 277

Noorwood 6'1" 241 Woodley 6'2" 265

The problem is a true NT and DE

One would almost think drafting Hardy & Norwood was for a 3-4 defense in the future

Obviously the problem is the starting DL on the current Panthers team.. Where would you get them?

The 2010 Panthers are nothing more than a mere skeleton of what they were last year, so whatever happened in the past is just that- the past.

Carolina loses by at least 13. Saints go up early while Fox still wants to run the ball a couple times until he sees the scoreboard and realizes he's behind. By then it's the 4th quarter and then he decides to start throwing the ball all over the lot.

He converted all 13 of his field goal tries with a 100% conversion rate that led all FBS kickers with at least 12 attempts. Fitzgerald was also perfect on his 14 extra points. He will compete with Matthew Wright for the Panthers’ kicking job in training camp. Harrison-Hunte went undrafted despite a strong showing at the Combine. He’s an older prospect who will turn 25 by the start of his rookie year, but he had just one season of sustained production at SMU after five years at Miami. Still, he earned first-team All-ACC honors in 2024 with 8.5 tackles for loss and 6.5 sacks and will push for a roster spot in Carolina as an athletic interior disruptor.   more at the link https://www.profootballrumors.com/2025/05/panthers-sign-19-undrafted-free-agents
