I don't get why you're trying to defend him. Anyone who saw him at Notre Dame knows he doesn't have the tools to be a franchise QB.

That's funny because that's the exact opposite of what EVERY single analyst who did watch games said. Every analyst has said that Clausens got talent and most expected him to be a 1st round talent but his stock fell because of his attitude/personality etc.

Maybe a little premature here. Before Jimmy can be a bust, he needs to have several great years, be retired for 5 years, and then be voted into the hall of fame by the 44 committee members. Then the bronze has to be purified and sculpted in his image in time for the induction ceremony.

Only then will be become a bust.

Using another high pick on a QB is a good idea if the talent is there. I'm not sold on Jimmy, but we're not asking a lot of him either. He just needs to manage the game, and rely on play action pass.
