Do you believe a solid WR would have made a difference in our record?

I firmly believe that if we would have added a WR like Housh, Owens or Boldin that this team would have been about 2-2 / 3-1.... I think the team has too much talent for the floor to fall out but the glaring deficiency at WR has pretty much crippled the offense and therefore put added pressure on the D

We have one of those, his name is Steve Smith and NO, it has not helped

WR wouldn't fix the OL situation which has been pointed out, and I also don't think it would matter that much as far as the rest of the passing game either. Maybe somewhat but I'm not certain it would be game changing at this point.

?????????????

our WR's have nothing at all to do with r shitty season so far, its the RT posistion since Otah is out.... ask around, that is our biggest problem, what is up with people thinking we need WR help?

Like I said, we've been without Otah before and was fine. Lost depht though. Otah is always going to be an injury risk, get used to it, he's a beast but may be a bust cause of injuries.

    • Apparently CSW lost his starting job to Thornton last year. If he can stay healthy I bet Thornton keeps that NB position.
    • I member him staying after practices with only to see he was wearing heavy weight vest, one of his trademarks. He also put in 10 years, right? People forget he was the ST stud that called the snap and made sure everyone lined up right. He was one of the "glue" guys that bought his "lunch pail" to work.... He was a willing solider, all teams need a couple of them. He blocked for sooo many panthers RBs- Davis, lane, Williams, foster, goings and when there was huge injuries he took over the starter duties and had a couple 100 yard games. If you followed hoover, he took the perfect RB path cause he was just a slow heavy one himself....
    • Walker likely depends on a couple of things. What exactly did Dan promise him, to start with.  How much other interest he actually had for a starter job at high pay is another question. It isn’t outside the realm of possibility that he could stay on as a swing tackle waiting to take Moton’s spot when it opens.    I can’t get myself to consider Icky as a viable anything until we see him back on the field.     Hunt seems to be a team player and good guy but I don’t think he is worth what he is being paid. I have him tentatively earmarked for cap causality in the near future.
