David Clowney, K Moore, or Guy?

both moore and jarrett aren't good. Sorry bb I agree with u 50%

I'm not saying Moore is an all-star receiver, but he was a much better option than Jarrett. He was also one of our fastest receivers and thus the most likely to fill in for Smitty should he go down. Well, now Smith has gone down during yet another season when Jarrett's barely seen the field.

Again, I'm not saying that Moore is some great player -- just that he was a better option than Jarrett for many reasons and should have made this team.

the best solution for a WR is on someone else's team and isn't a rookie. we're going to have to trade for him.

i don't know who but it will cost us a pick in next years draft. i wouldn't want to give away much more than that.

no current FAs and no PS guys.

It's not going to be a veteran because a young player will be cheaper. It's not going to be Kenny Moore because I think the Panthers would still owe him a 100,000$ bonus and it would make JR look like an even worse owner than he already does.

It's going to be someone we've never heard of who's likely worse than Armanti Edwards (assuming Edwards isn't the worst WR in the NFL, which he probably is) or they'll keep Jarrett.

Give me David Clowney. Kid has return skills and is a legit deep threat. More than I can say for the guys we have right now outside of Smitty. I'd rather have a roster spot for a guy that is motivated and has some talent than un unmotivated slouch that wants poo given to him undeservingly. Sign him up.

guys want players like Moore and Guy and then wonder why we suck

I'm just being realistic here. Has the front office given you any reason to think we'll go after a big name receiver, even with Smith and Jarrett (presumably) out?

Again, I never said Moore is a proven talent. All I'm saying is he was a better option than Jarrett, and we should have kept him here because of that.

    • I think we've given the Bears enough already
    • T-Mac and DJ really would be a nice pairing that compliments each other well. However... I'm not interested, as much as I do still love DJ and would love to see him as a Panther again, but in a vacuum, not in reality. Trading for DJ means either XL or Coker get no development the rest of the year, and possibly even both, and really it would effectively end Horn's season too, as he'd be back to not getting a uniform on game days (and no, I can't see them trading DJ to get XL back, because again, they're a team with other holes too, no reason to trade a better WR to get a worse one back). If we were a true contender this year, then sure, bringing him in would make sense, but since we're not, we need to ensure those two develop this year by getting the targets they need to get better.  Not to mention we shouldn't be spending money on a WR contract right now anyways, not when we have so many on rookie deals and have so many other holes on the team that need quality players. If we're trading for any vets and bringing on contracts, it should be for a LB or DB, I wouldn't even want a pass rusher as I don't want to take snaps away from Scourton or Princely, as we need to develop our young promising talent, not bury them behind vets again.
    • Can we ever just enjoy having good players? Some of you always want to trade, and then you complain when those players ball out somewhere else like CMC, Burns etc.
