Check in and show love for Chris Harris

The best trade we ever made few years ago. A guy put his body on the line for us so many games and took that leadership position, passing it on to Beason.

The only guy to voice his displeasure this offseason about the direction we were taking and was traded for voicing his opinion.

Not to mention he was always available for regular fans to talk to on his facebook, twitter and youtube accounts. He always visited this board because our opinion mattered to him.

f**k Peppers, here's to Chris Harris

I love'd me some Chris Harris while he was here.

That hit he laid on Brandon Jacobs inside the 3 that knocked Jacobs back on SNF with the number 1 seed on the line will be forever etched in my mind.

Bears fans, on the other hand, haven't been too thrilled with his performance this year, much to the chagrin of CRA.

The season the Bears traded Chris to the Panthers, the Bears played a Thursday night game. I went up to a local sports bar in Ballantyne to watch the game and was the lone Bears fan in there watching. Chris comes in shortly after and sits down beside me at the bar. I glance over and immediately recognize him and say, "Hey Chris, welcome to Charlotte" and shook his hand and we proceeded to have a great conversation there throughout the game talking about the Bears, talking about the game that was on- hearing him talk about the formations the Bears were in lead me to believe he'll be great in a booth or studio whenever he retires. He was a very, very cool guy and the conversation was just like any you'd have at a bar with the guy sitting beside you. It was cool. Best part about it was that nobody there had any idea who he was! lol

    • in starts, he has played better, been more efficient and outproduced Bryce by virtually every statistical metric that exists in 2025.  And has the 2 head to heads over Carolina.  I mean, your jaw should hit the floor.  But not for the reason you are implying.  That freaking stings.  Denying these realities isn't going to help the Panthers build a better team going forward.
    • He is basically having a polar opposite rookie season than Bryce. 4-3 as a starter on a very bad team.  68% for 237 passing yards and 19 rush per game. 9 TDs,  6 TOs in his starts.  and folks acknowledge the surprisingly play because no one thought poo of the random 2nd rounder and he is player better as a rookie thus far than so many prized picks did as a rookies (not just Bryce but a boatload of dudes).   It's only a sour issue to give someone props because he is a Saint and of course the Bryce thing.  It's like giving the TE in Clev props for having near identical production as the chosen one Tyler Warren.  Fannin is having a great rookie season in a very bad spot.
    • This is a very weird take. The reason Shough doesn't deserve it is because he's only started 7 games. He's doing crazy well for a rookie and out playing plenty of vets with a worse roster. He's waaay above league average in a number of categories during his starts and he passes the eye test in game by making plays. Meanwhile Bryce Young had one of the worst rookie seasons of all time. Still TMac deserves it more. It's only been 7 games for Shough so he doesn't deserve any awards. Even if he gets to 9 he doesn't.
