There will be butts in the seats no matter what. No matter the team's performance PSL owners can sell those tickets to the opposition's fanbase.

Winning also puts butts in the seats, gets media attention, and credibility. Cowher will get the Panthers off season attention but he's certainly not the only potential head coach capable of leading the team to a winning record.

I am not necessarily for Cowher coming here. But the way things are playing out this season, it is making sense to bring him in. JR has pissed off a lot of fans. Even those that don't want Cowher here will watch. I really believe this has been the plan all along.
