That goes back to the Giants game when they were able to run against us after halftime. I’ll tell you this, it’s about 50-50 who I would want to play if we beat Arizona. We want another shot at the Giants to prove we can beat them. But it would be great to play the NFC Championship Game at home. It’s the biggest game you can have at your place because the Super Bowl is at a neutral site, and we’re playing really well at home this season.

I don't see how that comment means he was really looking ahead. You can't tell me every single one of those guys (hell most of the fans included) wasn't anxious to get another shot at the Giants.

Besides... he said "if we beat Arizona"... it wasn't like he said "I can't wait until we play one of those teams after we steamroll the Cardinals!"

na sounds to me he was thinking a lot about who would be the better opponent to face after a game he hadn't played yet. he should have spent those 20 minutes figuring out how to convince trgoshit to run a better defense. just kidding about the last part but he should have audibled to something more effective than him matching up against fitz.
