Note about Last Play of Game vs 49'ners.

Random note

You may never see a weirder last play of a game than this one. The 49ers lined up two tight ends at tackle, a backup guard at center, a running back at left guard and a wide receiver at right guard. Furthermore, they only got ten players on the field, and in all the confusion the Panthers rushed their 11th man off the field to leave only 20 players competing.

Wide receiver at right guard?

My note about the last play of the game vs the 49ers...

It took frigging forever

I'm used to Cardiac Cat games coming down to the last second, but this one not only goes to the last second but then we've gotta wait five additional minutes for a ref to tell us what actually happened...

Ugh :incazzato:

No kidding. I had my celebration scream ready to go and I kept hesitating hitting reply like 20 times.

All I kept thinking was if they somehow pull a freak play and win this thing, my TV is gone.

Fox: "Who do they think they are trying to play against us with only 10 men? Someone GET OFF THE FIELD!"

man that is straight hilarious......^^^^^ I knew there was a reason we were playing only ten men I just didnt realize it was an ego thing now it makes perfect sense.

hey it could happen....if our coach wasn't named John Fox. So it probably went more like this:

Fox: "Now guys, settle down and remember keep your focus and don't loose your heads".

Smith: "Uhm coach, we're on the bus, the game's over".

Fox: "It is what it is."

They wanted as many "hands" people on the field for the multiple laterals.

That makes the most sense but damn, how many times has that non-sense crap actually worked and someone won a game from it? It usually ends up in a penelty for illegal forward pass after the second or third one...

    • In a lot of ways it makes sense to just draft a tackle early so they have flexibility with icky's injury and Motons not getting younger. I'd love for them to resign BC cause to me he looks pretty good anywhere they put him
    • Rods the one who needs to go if they don't win a cup soon, Overall I like the way Tulsky operates, do i wish he had pivoted to several smaller moves instead of going all in on a big acquisition? Obviously.   But RBA is the one I'm locked onto, he is too stuck in his ways and if if "his way" can't get somthing done he just triples down and proves his insanity by trying the same stupid crap over and over, the facebook casuals will be like but but but 8 years in a row making the playoffs.... yes we'll guess what we should have at least a cup to show for it, yes only one team wins every year but this year will be the 8th consecutive year making the playoffs.... heck none of us even get excited about that and haven't in four years minimum.  Our top guys are nearing the peak of their prime the time is now, but the canes seem content to stand pat and "make the playoffs" anther 5-8 years in a row.
    • #Panthers TE Tommy Tremble has a $2 million guarantee that is triggered today at 4 p.m. I don’t expect any movement there, fwiw. Tremble is due a $3.67 million base salary this season. He has another $2.4 million in incentives on his deal, per Over the Cap. https://x.com/mike_e_kaye/status/2032117015121391697?s=46&t=xeIgh_-Vr2aKxBkBJdfnKA
