Do you even attempt to watch college football?! This is 1 of the best QB draft classes in years! :rolleyes:

Not saying we 'should', but reality is, if we are going to do it, this is a prime year to get a stud. There was a reason every team in the NFL passed on Cluasen (nearly 2 times each).

2 things that need done. Fire Jeff Davidson and Marty Hurney

The offense under Davidson has been horrific for 2 years now.

The offensive personnel is also pretty horrible... I guess he's the blame for that also.

The NFL, where players failure to execute are all on the Coaches and Quarterbacks.

poor play calling, ZERO run game.....and our 1 man WR corp really isn't that good anymore (seriously, how costly were Smith's two drops and fumble? - which sadly, aren't that surprising).

I mean, a QB isn't going to solve THAT. THAT creates poor QBs.

No doubt.

No matter which way this goes, there are multiple areas that need to be addressed & the chicken or the egg coming first has to be evaluated. How did we have a top 5 rated OL last year & this year, missing 1 RT we have a bottom 5 OL?

I think it is a more complicated formula than some are making it out to be; it's not 1 or the other, it's a combination of factors...IMO it should be the personnel & coaching staffs that figure this out & make plans accordingly. This is Fox/Hurney/Richardson's mess.

They also passed on Brady, Montana, Warner, etc as well. Shouldn't the guy get more chances to prove himself being declared a bust?

True..but better QB play would go a long way.

A lot of holes on our offense to to just point out the QB I'm still on the drafting AJ Green bandwagon. Could go many ways with Otah's health and watching our oline this year.

No point in taking another young QB Clausen will get his chance the rest of the season and through his rookie contract to prove if he's the guy or not. I see us signing a vet QB this offseason if anything.

      The motto means nothing if they lay down and submit to the opponent. One of the most embarrassing things I have seen from twenty years of being a fan.  Regardless if the lead seems to be insurmountable, you keep giving 110% untill the final second. Canales is definitely a Beta and it wasn't a good look at all. I wonder what the locker room was whispering about after that sh%t. I hope we never see this again and he actually grows a pair of balls. He needs to look in the mirror and understand that you just don't do that in the NFL. Maybe peewee football so kids don't get hurt. Throw the 3rd stringers in to run the play and finish the game wirh some some pride and don't bend the knee.

      No but we should have kept both of them. People complaining about what he got paid can’t say much now because it’s absolutely worth it to get 15 sacks which we could desperately use, especially when you compare it to some of the free agents we have signed to try to replace that production (none of them have come close and we are wasting good money on them)
