New Orleans radio guy says Saints hiding Brees injury

People thought microfracture was what screwed up DeShaun Foster.

Did his microfracture surgery, which I believe he had his rookie season?, cause him to carry the ball like a loaf of bread allowing defenders far and wide to easily strip the ball?

No?

Guess that one's settled.

Just thought I'd add something here, guys. I'm really leaning towards not believing this story is true for these reasons: 1.) Why would they let him play football with these injuries without a knee brace? 2.) Why has he taken every snap in practice up to this point? And 3.) Why did he dropkick balls in practice and do jumping jacks in front of the press today to prove that he's healthy? Plus, he laughed when he heard the story.

It'd depend pretty heavily not so much on him, but his source.

If his source is indeed a current member of the training staff, you'd have to take it pretty seriously.

If the source is a former member of the training staff (or a relative or friend or some such) then it starts to get iffy.

As far as the story, the notion that Brees would hide something like this is pretty easy to believe given the "soldier" mentality of the average pro player.

Likewise, the idea that the Saints - a team with a recent locker room drug scandal cover up in its history - would work to keep something like this hush-hush is no stretch either.

a guy with credibility equal to that of PFT might have the scoop on something that everyone else riding on the saints/new orleans/brees jock is covering up or ignoring might be the case. at the moment, the only explanations why this guy would be reporting this and not anyone else ventures into tinfoil hat territory.

saints went to some lengths yesterday bunking this report.

    • I don't think it's a homer though when I really feel this team can beat anyone.  The points that can be scored in bunches when the big three are on has high potential.  Moose has effort for days and IMO is the heart of the team.  And didn't see Miles becoming the team "vet" in the starting lineup just roleplaying lol.   We have to limit the turnovers though (Brandon Miller I'm looking at you bud, you are a bad ball handler) and some little things.   Colby off the bench is a cheat code and him and Kaulk have a nice little game going with the picks.    Sion playing every game and just getting better each game.  He has grit.  Grant and Green also grit.  We need replace Tillman with PJ Hall though.  Tillman looks like someone that shouldn't be on an NBA court, or at least with this team, he's just too slow for this tempo.   Even McNeely looked decent tonight and can drive.   If Kaulk and Moose could even be like 30% 3pt shooters man....
    • 1.) LaMelo 2.) Kon 3.} Miller 4.. Giannis 5.) Moose   1.) Coby 2.) ? 3.) Sion 4.) Miles Bridges 5.) Kalk That squad would win multiple chips.
