A big shout out to Darren Sharper!

I'm confused. What did he do wrong? I just watched the replay; in case I missed something. All I saw was a runningback get hit hard to make the ball pop out. I remember Minter making much harder hits in his day on guys...

helmet-to-helmet! wow! can't believe the refs didn't call that. ok he's an a**. I actually liked the guy because he went to my high school - lame excuse - but we have little to brag about as far as pro talent. still i change my tune, he's a creep.

He was on the Green Bay team when they won it. Im not the one comparing him to Lott, the stats are. They don't lie. Going by your logic, Lott doesn't deserve to be in the Hall of Fame as well because he "bails out on his coverage". He also played for 3 teams.

He was drafted in 1997 one year after the Packers won the SB, they lost to Denver in 1997, his rookie year. Truth is, Lott ended his career bouncing around the league like a few other great players.

Comparing stats? 4 SB rings, 10 Pro Bowls, 8 First Team All-Pro and #42 retired by SF 49ers. I'm sure most would take Lott over Sharper any day of the week.

Yea, they won it in the year 97, not the 97 season where he was drafted. But, where the hell am i comparing him? or even saying sharper is better? You're the only one comparing the two. I said he has as many INTs as him. Lott is in the HOF. If you have comparable stats as someone in the HOF you have a very good chance of making it. And the reasoning you give Sharper for having those INTs should be the same for Lott according to you.

Dude really I'm on your side, I get pissed off every Sunday also. However Defensive stats don't always tell the whole truth, especially int's and sacks. I hate the 49ER's but Ronnie Lott is the best Safety in NFL history. Peace!?

it was a hit and a celebration. If I knocked the poo out of somebody and knocked the ball loose I would probably get amped too..jus sayin'

we lost, got swept, and got busted up physically all day

how does complaining about what some insignificant db did after one play make you feel any better guys? c'mon

I think Sharper was celebrating the stop he made..not that he put someone out..

Also he was the difference maker last season for the Saints defense and he has struggled to get on the field this season so to make a big play on J Stew(who looked like he was going to have a decent day) was amped up....

Of course Beason gets a helmet to helmet call and he hit the guy with his shoulder pads. However..If Beason or Godfrey came to the line and put a RB on the opposing team out and he thumped his chest...u would be cheering and not typing on the huddle to complain.

What pissed me off the most was the high fives and bullshitting on the sideline when Stew was still on the ground....f**k THAT PIECE OF poo!!

So what! Had Stewart run over Sharper he would've done that stupid Matrix dance with DeAngelo Williams on the sidelines.

Sharper made a good football hit and dapped off his teammates. He didn't jump up and down and taunt Stewart while he was on the ground. Matter of fact, he didn't even celebrate until after the booth review determined the Saints would get the ball back.

Bunch of crybabies on here.
