Would You Be Happy with Mike Goodson as the Future at RB?

Goodson did a very decent job of running in this game. But I think Goodson would be better suited as a WR and play in the slot. I just feel goodson don't have the strength to break tackles and get big gains for Carolina at the RB postion. But atleast as a WR he can get out in the open and catch the ball and run for TD with ease. I feel like Goodson come be the next Steve smith if he try hard enough.

If you have to say goodbye to one it has to be Stewart. He's just not the same guy he was in his first two seasons. D-Will has been much more productive and can still be one of the top backs in the league. Williams/Goodson will be a great RB combo, and by the time Williams starts to wear down, Goodson will be more than ready to be the starter.

With both Goodson and Stewart signed through 2012, there really isn't an issue with keeping both of them. They are both on rookie contracts. It is really only an issue of keeping Williams. It seems to me he has played well enough to deserve a second contract. Sure we could let him go and stay on the cheap but I thought that Richardson was going to open up the purse going forward. If so they we should defintely be able to keep all of them. I would like to see what the 3 of them could do for a real offensive coordinator.

Goodson benefited from being relatively fresh from his limited play time up to this point imo. He isn't D-Will level yet and I think it is a mistake to let a superstar like Williams go when we won't need to. Especially when I consider D-Wills attitude in relation to his abilities.

Davidson is an absolute fuging idiot. DWill has plenty of speed to outrun the opponents defense and has shown it time and time again. As they say in baseball speed never has a slump.

I would like to keep all three. Let DWill be the main RB with Stew being his primary backup and short yardage guy. Goodson can do KRs, play in the slot and be the pass catching 3rd down back.
