At this point, how can you justify Fox not being fired?

Jesus, some of you live in a fantasy world. NOBODY can come in here and change anything about this team. WE SUCK. Deal with it. This team was weak from day one, and now has so many injuries it's laughable. Fox can only do so much. His ass is gone at season's end. Just sit tight, it'll all be over in January.

I don't really think anyone expects improvement. They just don't see any point in keeping Fox.

It's not about improvement, it's about accountability. It's his job to get the players to play better, and to win games. He's not doing either. He's made it clear he doesn't believe he can win with this roster, yet he won't do the honorable thing and resign. (And yes, I do believe if you think you can't succeed with the tools you have, you're admitting before you even start that you will fail.) So yes, for insubordination, incompetence, and just plain ineptitude, I want his ass fired so hard people that look like him will be out of a job.

Understood, but what's the point in using an interim coach the rest of the way? To get 1-2 more wins than Fox could give us? No. To make the players happier? No. To maybe see if he can be our future coach? Lord help us if that's the case.

Just stick with Fox. He's a burnt out old man coaching a shitty team. It'll be over soon.

This team is better than Foxy. Always has been. This year us an exclamation point. Firing Foxy sends that message to the team.

Fox doesn't make them not run faster, not catch better, not throw better, or not tackle better. This team will be the same no matter who coaches the rest of the way. Sure you may see a different thing here or there, LP, but you're coming off as if some magic will occur if we fire Fox. It's wasted effort to do such a thing. EVERYTHING gets changed in the offseason anyway...well, we hope.

How did Dallas suddenly get better? My point is it is not alway the players. Have said for years that this team has been under-coached.

That being said, I do not think we have a coach to take Foxy's place that can do what Jason Garrett has done for the Cowboys. What firing Foxy would do is send a message to the players that we believe in them. A message they need since Foxy has already said he didn't.

eff guys who are content with mediocrity

Are you saying that the players are content with mediocrity? Because that doesn't make any sense to me. The point is, cutting players for having loyalty to their coach is one of the most ridiculous ideas I have ever heard. There's nothing wrong with guys being loyal to Fox, even if he's losing. He'll be gone next year regardless and they won't be. They'll get over it.

And if you want to get rid of guys who are loyal to Fox you can say goodbye to Gross, Smith, Johnson, etc.

How pissed off will everyone be if Davidson becomes the HC if Fox is fired before the season is out and all of a sudden our offense becomes creative and explosive?

I'm still not entirely sure the stale offense is because of Davidson in the first place. :)

Like others have said, it doesn't matter now. Maybe earlier in the season, but not now. Season's over. Everyone knows it. From the looks of it in the stands today, PSL owners are dumping their tickets to anyone who will give them a dollar for them. Because they aren't coming to any more games this year.
