Not a fan of Mick Mixon's style..

I'm not sure why he ever replaced Rosinski, this Gettis touchdown is just the most blatant example...

If you were at the stadium, did he capture that moment very well?

Did he do it as well as the tv play-by-play guy?

I swear Mixon never shows any emotion in his voice unless he completely unexpected it.

I know this has been disscussed over and over again. But it's really bad sometimes. I wish he would go back to B-ball or golf.

The man has a terrible radio voice. He always aounds as though his nose is stopped up. There is no inflection on what's saying, everything is monotone, and when he raises his voice he sounds even weaker. His accent sounds bizzare to me, and I'm native to NC. Football is a violent sport, but Mixon sounds like a poetic quaker. I don't know how much air his lungs can hold, but it can't be much. Sometimes he can barely finish a call on a big play, he shouts "touchdown" at the end, and I swear he's using the very last ounce of air in hs lungs, and just sounds so weak. Mick go blow your nose and practice some breathing exercises.

Early in the game, I swear this is an exact quote or pretty damn close:

"St. Pierre lines up under center, lowers his rear end, arches his back."

wtf??? what does that have to do with the football game?? What are you looking at Mick? :ee:

I think he does the job as best as he can. But no he's not very good.

yeah that's the hard part. He's a good person and a good worker he just doesn't have any football swagger. I like the old school people like the "

"

RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRADIERS"

guy.

    • You’re playing madden we’re talking real football stuff…. He does have you seen his special on internet he def thinks he’s getting paid
    • Without the team having an identity kinda hard to predict what they value.  They either are really trying to build a balanced team, or preparing for another swing at qb if Bryce doesn’t pan out. Seems like we value the o line but the $ spent there has been underwhelming besides Lewis, you could say it’s because of injuries but still hasn’t been worth the investment. as already stated, the whole handling of Bryce young as a whole has been ass backwards, we spent the years we’re supposed to take advantage of having a qb with a lower cap hit, building the team up to be adequate. now It appears, key word appears, the saints have done it correctly, which is painful to even think about. Regardless, I hope the front office has paid attention to qb contracts recently, such as Tua, Kyler, Daniel jones(pre colts) and don’t settle for subpar qb play at franchise qb rates
    • This is the flaw in your logic.  Cutting 3 of our best players will somehow move us from whatever we are to "compete". Even the most Young super fans are not predicting a ceiling above top 10-12, and that will not nearly cut it.  Someone will need to break the log jam of QBs getting nothing or North of 50. Our qb is at best a middle ground, lets hope it will be us that also manage to pay the worth at about 100 over 3 years.  And before you jump me, yes that is only of he improves.
