Browns are a super team compared to us. Besides, the Browns put a hurting on the Saints in the Super Dome, so it's not like they're total scrubs.

Any of you assholes noticed that he has tried to go down field several times this game but can't because our line sucks? He ended up getting sacked both times I saw him crank up for a deep throw.

unfortunately for luck he is going to have to play a ranked team in wisconsin in the rose bowl.

he's only played one currently ranked team this season. and he didn't look like the stunning qb he does against an incredibly weak pac 10.

luck is a better prospect with clausen though, not gonna argue.

but if clausen continues to show improvement by the end of the season he should be playing some pretty good football on the worst offense in the NFL.

At one point during the second half, Clausen was fleeing the pocket, threw off balance towards Lafell. Lafell made a brilliant catch on the sidelines picking a ball out of the air that could have been just thrown away (but hard to say since Lafell was right there). Refs said Lafell went out of bounds then came in for the catch so they penalized us 10 yards, so it was 3rd and 15. Fox challenged it.

Mike Periera said it was a catch, and he never went out of bounds... Officials said he didn't go out of bounds but didn't complete the catch, which cost us a down... so yeah. 4th down woo. miss a FG. Total bullshit missed call.

At the end of the game with 12 seconds left, Clausen threw a 25 yard pass to lafell along the sideline into double coverage. The pass was low so only Lafell could catch it. He did, rolled out of bounds to stop the clock at 6 seconds. We missed a FG to lose the game. This throw was not a "heave with eyes closed," but the first one might be described as a heave. lol.

I'm not so sure it was Eli but rather his father that wanted him to play for a team other than the Chargers. He is a daddy's boy after all.

has luck actually stated that he's even going to consider the draft this year? even if he does, we're drafting another sophomore QB early in the draft (according to most of this board). QB isn't even close to the biggest need on this team. we're horrible up front on O and D. luck, locker, or anyone won't be the savior of this team unless we get him some time to throw.
