Ok i am gonna go a different route. If everyone is so in love with Goodson all the sudden how bout trading DeAngelo? I will tell you why that needs to happen. Because FA, ANDREW FREAKIN LUCK and a handful of other picks in the upcoming draft is not gonna be enough to turn us around. We need to continue our youth movement and stockpile draft picks. If that means trading down even if BOY WONDER is available then so be it. If that means breaking up Double Trouble then so be it. If that means trading Steve Smith to a team that can get him the ball so be it.

Clausen is showing improvement (gone from terrible to below average) and had several nice plays. Which is what you want from a rookie.

I have been bashing him from day 1 but he showed some poise.

it's actually seemed more consistant since he got hurt. but, how much of that is dwills fault since fox would pull him outta the game every time it seemed like he was getting on a roll?

the running game has gotten better because fox ran out of options to outsmart himself with.

I don't think he's terrible, and it's way too early to label him a bust (especially given the situation) but I believe Luck will be a better QB and Clausen would work out better for a WCO team than he will here in a conventional offense (assuming we stay that way).
