Game 22: Bobcats @ Pacers

HeatCheck

Recommended Posts

This is our second meeting with the Indiana Pacers. I remember last game we basically lead the whole game but let it slip away. Danny Granger went off the last time he played us, so he's someone we'll need to limit. Wallace, who has had a disappointing season thus far, will have the task of guarding Danny and he'll have to step up his defensive game.

I am starting to want Larry Brown gone. We always allow someone on what ever team to just rain 3's all day long. Most of the time we lose the game because of it. Also he needs to play our younger guys. Bring in someone young who wants to win and see the team improve.

Ridiculous and we play the Celtics tomorrow the team that rapes us 2-3 times a year. KG will start a fight with someone when they're up 50.

It's horrible. Trade everyone, get a new coach. This is the NBA, it's not that hard to guard the perimeter. People are getting away with being lazy all night long and Boris was walking around screens all night it has to stop. Run or stop playing that goes for Jax and the rest of the team too.

Trade what they can for draft picks and hope we can become like the Thunder. I have no faith however that management can draft worth a damn. Missed out on too many players.

Stupid Magic took Howard over Okafor :(

kept picks 5 and 13 instead of trading for CP3.

Passed on Roy and Gay

Passed on Lopez.

Hey look, Brown's team lost because we don't defend THREE POINTERS ONCE AGAIN. I can't handle this anymore, it's embarrassing. All the teams know to put in 3 shooters and just rain on us like f'n Reggie Miller.

I seen LB say he hates the 3 shot and it's ruining the NBA, why, because you don't want to defend it?

I don't think his heart is completely here, he never sticks around, it's time for a new coach.

    • If you need someone to run your multi-billion dollar business, maaayyyybe don't hire a guy whose previous work experience includes repeated blows to the head and literal brain damage but IDK.
    • Extrapolate that with every QB for that matter. I guarantee you there's quite a bit of missed opportunities and yards left on the field for everyone. Many NFL QBs deal with WRs not putting in A+ effort, subpar o-line play and other deficiencies. The great ones are able to rise above these issues and create opportunities for plays. Guys like Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes can both play in and out of structure, as well as find ways to get yards when things break down and mask mistakes by throwing guys open, creating opportunities from nothing, etc. Bryce Young has only shown he's able to make things happen when the rest of the team picks up his slack. Very rarely does he create those opportunities himself. When this is a consistent pattern year after year with Bryce where he shows up lackluster, it's a concern. This is year three and he should be elevating the team as a first overall pick this franchise traded up for.  He was far from elevating anyone against JAX. In fact, he needed others to elevate and create for him. Excuses may be fine for a rookie, but this is year three for the first overall pick. Not looking good so far.
    • I think the worst issue is coaching. Countless bad snaps, XL not getting his feet in or trying on runs plays, our centre being down field when he didn't need to be. All seem to be from poor coaching for me. I believe Canales is to soft to rip the players a new one when the fug up. Plus I honestly believe that Canales is slow getting his plays in giving Bryce less time to diagnose and adjust to the defence. Don't worry I could of head butted Bryce for that fumble and the 4th down throw aways but the other plays are explainable to me
