Stealing money= 60 years

Cooking Meth= 20 years

Murder= 15 years

Tell me whats whats wrong with this picture.....

That's exactly what I was thinking. Did you guys hear about that cop that was put in jail for assaulting women? He got like two years.

I know what the guy did was wrong, but I just think murder, rape or assault are worse crimes than theft.

I think I agree. But when you start hearing the testimonies from just a handful of victims you realize how much of an effect his actions had on so many peoples lives. He completely destroyed peoples lives to the point where they can't pay for there health insurance, they lost their homes, they got had to steal food to eat etc. etc. In the end he effective very negatively over 400 peoples lives and we will never know just how big of an impact it made.

Here is the case I was on.

Cat... I would remove this link...

I have a family member who is an Assistant DA and has sent multiple people to jail from a few years to life-sentences or death row.

He has told me, on more than one occasion, that anything he works on that he discusses with me is best left between us. I've mentioned some of the stuff he's done, but never the who's or the where's or whens.

Associating yourself as a juror or prosecution in a SPECIFIC criminal trial can lead to a compromise of your safety and/or security by someone who may be tied to this individual that is seeking revenge. While unlikely, a post on a message board could come back to bite you.

Good call though he already knows my full name and what I look like.

Yea, there is a huge difference between stealing a few hundred bucks, and masterminding a scheme to defraud many people out of their retirement.

Still if you kill people for there retirement you get less time...

Unless you actually kill retired people.

The second suspect in the killings of a Meals on Wheels volunteer and the man she was delivering lunch pleaded guilty on Tuesday in a Winston-Salem courtroom.

Ashley Smith, accused of murder in the killings along Jonestown Road in April 2009, was given two consecutive life sentences in prison, avoiding the death penalty given to her accomplice in the crime, Timothy Hartford.
