If you want good, older house, look for any live mix from Donald Glaude from 1999-2001. I had my days - used to own a record store, promote parties, etc. back in the day. Completely different person today, but I've been there, done that.

They are under the general umbrella of "Electronic Music" Psy Trance if you want to get technical definitely not a classic house sound. They use live instruments with alot of synth mixed in & live vocals here and there. One of the better high energy shows I have seen in my day.

Glaude is great, he was one of the few house guys in trance dominated SF in the 90's. I've heard tons of his sets his best stuff was at ICE in Vegas.
