You guys are f**king morons just like the guys in San Diego when Drew Brees had his rookie season, and Brett Farve had his, and Aikman had his, and Payton Manning had his. The list goes on.

Actually, sir, you are the f**cking moron. The only thing you can compare about any of those guys and Clausen is the fact that they are in their first year in the league. The way they are actually playing/played the game in those seasons is nothing alike.

sure. he already has.

sure. why wouldn't he be? for sure he'll at least be looked at and asked to interview.

If you are using those guys for comparison purposes

Brees had 1 TD/no INT 221 his first season (only played in one game)

Favre had 0 TD/2 INT 0 yards(only played 2 games didn't start any, only 4 attempts)

Aikman had 9 TD/18 INT 1749 (played in 11 games, don't know how many he started)

Manning had 26 TD/28 INT 3739 yards (started entire season)

Clausen has 2 TD/7 INT 1304 yards (played in 11 games, started 8 so far)

Brees and Favre didn't start so really no way to compare. Aikman and Manning I would say outplayed Clausen. So what is the point in bringing them up? To show that rookie quarterbacks played better than Clausen? In addition, when calling people morons you may want to spell the players names correct.

      I didn't move the goal posts. But anyone who follows football who wants to engage in a rational discussion can't argue that 10 7th round picks are equal to 10 1st rounders in value. The argument has always been we haven't spent as much on defense has we have on offense. Draft picks have value just like salary. We have not spent the same amount of draft pick salary cap on defense that we have on offense since drafting Bryce. It's not even close. Just the 2 1sts we used on Bryce, 2 overall 1sts have a value of 6000. That doesn’t even factor in DJ Moore or the 2 2nds. Bryce cost more than everything we've spent on defense in 6 damn years.

      Woukd be a great addition You know the issues from my prespective, 2 things the Panthers must do 1. Edge or pass rushers or 2 oline or 3 oline or as Andy Reid says, when in doubt, draft a lineman it is time   That oline is troubling plus a small person at QB  they   1. Can do a lot better than mayes at center, 2. and lewis has had injuries all season. 3. Moton should not have  been resigned long term, 4. corbett is a shadow and will probably be released  5 and Christianson coming off Achilles   6 and the kicker, would be Ickey’s contract if they decide to keep him INMO rookie and contracts will be needed to offset all that
