Some dates FYI

Jan 1st Gator bowl Michigan vs. Miss. St....Michigan may be in the running for Harbaugh as their HC if they fire RR

Jan 2nd Carolina at Atlanta...A loss by the Panthers would give the Panthers the top pick regardless of Cincy or Denver losing out...also Jan 2nd is the final week of the regular season. Carolina begins it's 'official' coaching search the next day.

Jan 3rd...Orange Bowl Stanford vs. Va. Tech...Could be Luck's and Harbaugh's last game at Stanford

Jan 15th...deadline for underclassmen (Luck) to declare for the draft

It's funny to me the people who think Harbough is coming here. JR allowed Fox to leave this year, which is a pretty big clue he already has a coach lined up who is already available/ will coach in the NFL. No way in hell he is coming here.

Should probably add the Falcons and Saints game this Monday to the list, or the games on Sunday. If the Saints win on Monday the Falcons cant rest starters against us. Also if Denver and Cincy win on Sunday it doesn't matter what happens in week 17.....

I'm not 100% sold on that. I think if JR had his coach picked out that it would have leaked by now and we would have heard something. I'm okay with just about anyone except Russ Grimm. He was a great player, but I don't see "great coach" in him at all.

    • Nina King continues to run circles around the rest of college basketball. She's been ahead of the curve on everything, and is the biggest reason for Duke's success post-K IMO. I think Scheyer is great at many things, but Duke went into the NIL era 100% ready whereas everyone else was playing catchup.
    • Happy they won convincingly instead of letting them hang around. Montreal is cooked, and rather than play hockey, they've decided to take some really cheap shots at guys. I get a player may feel a need to set the tone, and I understand how that works. But to 2-hand cross check someone intentionally in the face, to have a guy down on the ice and put his head into the ice with a stick, to just start punching anyone who gets within arm's reach- that's not setting the tone. That is nothing short of playing dirty.  That said, the Canes.... oh boy. They could have run this score to 6-0 with half a power play. It's embarrassing how bad the PP is. If the Canes go to the Cup finals against a team who scores at least 1 goal per game on the PP, they'll lose the close games because of the lack of results on the PP.
    • Because he knows they are winning the cup. And I fully support his decision.
