Well, every team hypes the player. When things suck, hope is pretty much all you got.

Having said that, I know a lot of Lions fans and imo they were boosting Stafford more than we are Luck. Keep in mind that they had a much better idea that he was leaving college.

Having said that, we aren't remotely in the same situation as Detroit. We've had our fair share of disappointing picks but the Lions raised that to a science. I mean damn...

Also, (no offense to the folks here but,) there's a reason the vast majority of people here and on other sites don't get paid to pick talent. Sure there are a few who might (key word) be able to but even if the have good football knowledge & raw ability to judge talent, they don't have 1/3 of the information on a prospect. Even then, while its not as much of a crapshoot as most fans think, its still a crapshoot.

Hell, we could trade the #1 pick, get 2 first rounds, 2 second rounds, & a 1st round till 2014, & loose them all to injury.

Or lemme put it this way, remember when Philly fans were outraged that they didn't get Ricky Williams? Granted, they didn't get a Lombardi, but shows what fans know.

Inquiring minds want to know why you aren't willing to do the research, answer your own question, then share the results?

I did the research. Luck>Bradford>Stafford. Enthusiasm was high in St. Louis because they had no idea how good Luck would be. Now they are sad. In Detroit, they had to wonder if Matt Millen had anything to do with the pick. Nobody finds the first round busts better than he did.

Yes Stafford has had a couple injuries.... but he is no where near a first round bust... especially talent wise. He still has time to prove he can stay healthy.

No way the Lions were higher on Stafford than you guys are on Luck. It's not physically possible.

This.

The worship he's getting around here from some folks you'd think he already declared, we already drafted him, he already had a 10 year career with perfect passer ratings every game, and he already brought home 4 Lombardi trophies.
