I wouldn't want Locker or Mallet honestly I think they suck and have no shown any leadership ability.

I think Locker is going to great after some time learning the pro game. Newton I'm not sure on but I have him higher then Mallet on my big board....

The reason why I don't like Mallet is because he has always choked in big games. Locker has had a horrible year but he has also played for a horrible team, I still wouldn't want him as my qb for the future. Newton has a lot of hype but how many qbs have the mobility that Newton has and end up being the #1 passer in the nation? That is one reason why I really want Newton.

Locker could be the best out of this bunch when it's all said and done. I'm not sure how Newton will transition either. I think a lot of it depends on his attitude and his mental state coming into the NFL.

I really really like Locker's tools.

Yeah I have Mallet below Luck and Newton... I haven't seen much on Gabbert, although I have heard some nice things.

Mallet was getting alot of hype at the beginning of the year, for his quick release and arm. I watched him against Alabama, and for the beginning of that game I was very impressed. He showed total command of the offense, getting guys lined up. I havent seen much on him since then though.

I will be watching.

    • I've primarily looked at the offensive side of things, likely because that's where most of the discussion is centered. Given there's a pretty solid chance we move on from Evero next season, I probably should pay more attention to the other side of the ball.
    • Every offense Canales has grown up in or ran before being employed here has required a QB with an aggressive downfield nature to them to function properly.   There are no exceptions to that....people try to built one here.  That is not Bryce's style.  and his bland and boring O here requires the same thing here and doesn't have it at the QB spot
    • Pretty much... Typical WCOs do take occasional deep shots but they're not as reliant on them as a traditional Coryell style would be. Reid and NcNabb back in Philly certainly took shots downfield (and NcNabb was capable) but it definitely wasn't Coryell style.
