Get the censors ready...Rob Ryan WILL interview with the Panthers

Ryan is a man. It would be nice to finally see us play aggressive on Defense. Out of all the possible candidates thus far, I gotta say I like him the most. Numbers aside, the Browns played pretty solid defense, and really don't have any big name players. The only thing I worry about is his scheme.

Ron Rivera is incredibly aggressive as well. The dude learned from Buddy Ryan AND Jim Johnson.

I mean I guess we won a lot of games this year too...if you don't count the numbers.

I get what you're driving at but at the end of the day the numbers do matter...especially the ones that lead to points.

This is also my thinking.

After thinking about it and doing research I think I am okay with him being head coach under the assumption we get a very good independent thinking Offensive Coordinator. Players like to play for him, he's put in his time and has prepared for the position and wants it. He;s been outspoken about being a head coach for years..

Only thing that worries me is that the 3-4 defense is what he knows and specializes in. At the same time I do not see us having the pieces for a 3-4 defense or making the change.... If he was a 4-3 guy I would really be for him being head coach.

I just wonder how well him and Hurney would gel together.
