You do f**king realize that Bill Billichick was also a HC for the Browns before taking over for the Patriots...and he only went 33-46 with them.

I swear....some of you guys should have your dude cards revoked for being complete f**king morons when it comes to football.

bill bellicheck is an exception, not the rule.

but hey lets get eric mangini for HC, jeff davidson for o coordinator, and romeo crenall as a DC and we'll be a dynasty!!!!!!!!!! browns coaches r awsum!!!!!!!

but hey guys, lets ignore all that, ONE browns coach did well, so i guess they'll all be FANTASTIC

no one is saying this. what people ARE saying is that it is really dumb to judge a coach based on where he has coached before (on the browns, which is just a bad situation) without examining his whole body of work but you keep your caveman observation of "browns coaches BAD" without any real insight into why this is

Yards Per Game Points Per Game

San Diego 1st 10th

NY Giants 7th 17th

San Francisco 13th 16th

Cleveland 22nd 13th

I see one good coach, and three mediocre coaches. I think I'll take the good one..

Look at the talent on the Browns defense. Do you think Rivera would've had that Browns defense ranked as the best D in the league?

Interesting that he went from DC at the Pats to Linebackers at the Raiders. That's a big step down...

He was basically LB coach and DC at the Patriots, went to the Raiders to be DC under Norv Turner but it didn't work out and he ended up LB coach; when he was going to leave for the Jets they extended him at the Raiders and I think made him DC at one point under Kiffin. I recall he and Kiffin feuding and Al Davis seemingly taking Ryan's side.

Ryan left for the Browns but I'm not sure of the why etc.
