Does anyone else remember this funny incident from many years ago? I recall seeing a video clip from this interview way back when but couldn't find it anywhere, but here is a link to the story.

More substance as to why he could be fuggin with the 49ers. :D

Chargers QB Jim Harbaugh refused to answer questions on

Wednesday from San Diego Union-Tribune beat writer Jim

Trotter, who wore a 49ers sweatshirt to the team's practice

Oh well, no college who has never coached an NFL game should get 7-8 mil/year.

Neither should a rookie player. Honestly that should be the max for a rookie top pick, and a 2 year contract deal max to try them out on an NFL level.

After the first 2 years they can be up for a serious contract re-negotiation. Say, a minimum 50% increase if they achieve A, B and C benchmarks.

And I still think that's generous. A 21-22 year old kid getting paid 4 million dollars guaranteed a year when they have not even finished college, and haven't proven anything, is still more money than most people make in a lifetime!

Maybe he wants his official title to be "football god" :sosp:

A guy flies all the way across the country, offers 7 million a year, risks alienating his current coaches and staff (also irks quite a few NFL people in the process) and then all of a sudden drops out of the race for the guy that was the object of all these actions.

Why?

the news comes amid increasing reports suggesting that harbaugh would not be joining the dolphins. Tim kawakami of the san jose mercury news, for example, reported earlier tonight that harbaugh “isn’t sold” on the miami situation, and that he was “looking for reasons to look elsewhere.”
