Hmmmm you mean luck? The guy that LOST to Oregon? And who took forever to announce that he wasn't gonna declare?

The same guy that didnt have the heart to challenge the nfl. The one who'd ragther go back to the farm and be cuddled by is roomates than face nfl defenses. Not sure he wouldn't think about retiring at 30 to build stadiums. Don't trust that guy

Which won't happen in the NFL.

Man if you are a hater just say so loud and proud I dont think he is a great qb but if you dont think that physical specimen will be able to run in the league I'm going say you don't watch football or you ARE A HATER.

:willy_nilly:

You forget there will be no Threat to run by cam in the NFL. Vick is faster and is really the only legit scrambling QB that make defenses completely gameplan for his scrambling abilities and Cam is no vick.

That statement above applies to you but I think you watch football because you generally know what your saying but let me break it down. He is bigger stronger and just as fast as Vince young and teams ALWAYS have to watch for VY running right??? Teams gameplan for VY's running ability not just Vick don't forget that.

Some of you Andrew Leaf fans are a trip! Every TD he threw in the orange bowl was from a blown coverage by a team that couldn't stop JAMES MADISON UNIVERSITY this year..and you guys went wild, claiming he's the next Elway...and now everyones criticizing Cam for making some of the same throws against Oregon?? SMH

Ok. I'm a hater who is aware that Cam Newton will not be able to run the ball 20+ times per game in the NFL. I'm also a hater who is aware that throwing screens behind the line of scrimmage every other play won't work in the NFL. I'm also a hater who realized your first read won't be wiiiiiiiiiiide open every time you want to make a throw in the NFL.

Anything else?

+1. But ya know if cam is a panther, i'll pull for him and hope he does well, but considering VY and MV have never won or come close to winning a super bowl is reason enough for me not to want him. I don't want to be mediocre.

    • Yeah one big factor has been he is surprisingly quite durable. But the reality of that aspect is much of it boils down to plain dumb luck more often than not. Big guys get hurt smaller guys get hurt it happens across the league to anyone to varying degrees. The issue is we are staring down the barrel of a possible top 10 QB salary and Bryce Young is one of the least physically gifted starters in the league. That is not a shot at him it is simply a rational acknowledgment of circumstances. There is a legitimate question to be asked if his window as a starter in this league is smaller as a result because what is going to happen when those hits that he has previously popped right back up from with a smile on his face begin to accumulate as they do for every player that has been in this league? These are just things to consider.
    • This game is a must-win for both teams I feel. For the Canes, you don’t want to go back to Vegas and put them in front of their home crowd with a chance to close out the series. For Vegas, if you drop this game your only chance is to win 2 straight and similarly have to contend with an energized Canes home crowd if you get to a game 7.
