RB, TE, DL, LB, Assistant WR (maybe Proehl), Strength and Conditioning, maybe other assistants.

I don't see Rivera only having a Secondary coach. I think at least one other assistant, maybe safties coach or corner coach, will be hired if not one for each. With Rivera saying he wants teachers, I would be surprised if he left what really amounts to 5 different positions to be coached by one guy.

We've got more assistant position coaches on staff already than i can remember us having before. Getting more won't surprise me.

Washington was Barry Cofield's college position coach. Cofield is a free agent this year (pending the CBA).

Regarding the hire of Graves and the interview of Proehl, it does seem as though Rivera is more than happy to listen to Steve Smith.

It's worth remembering that Rivera was the coordinator of that defense that Smith torched in the 2005 playoffs.

I'm liking this staff. It would be awesome if there ends up being a handful of future head coaches on our young staff. Great starting point for us.

Pretty happy so far, honestly.

Get the definite impression this year's training camp is gonna be no picnic.
