Golden St. open to trading Curry

I'd honestly let Jack and G-Dub go for him. Not together for one player of course, but I would definitely let go 2 of our core players for him.

He's already overcome that PG/SG tweener gap. Dude's a baller, and a potentially star. I would not be surprised to see either Wallace or Jack packaged with Nazr or an expiring big for Curry and Biedrins.

Jordan better make an effort.

Two 180lb guards starting in the backcourt. Yuck.

Curry can play SG, as a matter of fact he is a better SG than he is PG. Golden State is just foolish enough to have Curry play PG and Ellis play SG.

If it were to work than Jax not Gerald has to go because Curry is to good to come off the bench and Jax cannot play the SF position.

In a perfect worlid I could see the Cats unloading a lot of unused weight and Jax for Curry.

Maybe, Jax, Najera, Diop, and Collins

for Biedrins, Curry and Wright.

However, more realisticly I see something like this

Jax

Livingston

K. Brown

Diop

for

Biedrins

Curry

Wright

and you best believe Dell will be telling Jordan to make it happen.

I cannot believe that I am reading some of this. If you are trading for Curry, you have to also trade DJ in the process.

If Curry and DJ were in the starting lineup, the Bobs would easily give up 105 pts a game.

Fans will many times ignore the defensive shortcomings of a roster tweak in the hopes of a slightly improved offensive output. That's exactly what this move would be.

    • Kalkbrenner and Sion James received regular contracts and not two ways, so the Hornets have some work to do to cut the roster size down.
    • Gustavsson would be insane. I think we would have to break the bank to afford that move. Which, I don't think is necessarily a bad idea. Ultimately, Freddie isn't likely to be around more than a couple of seasons more. We can all agree that unless they have a fleet of sports psychologists working on Kochetkov, he will never be capable of getting his head on straight enough to compete.
    • I originally hated the Miller deal but with the cap projected to rise nearly $10M next season the Canes struck some pretty good deals between Miller and Ehlers. Most of the team is locked in for the next few years. Nikishin will need an extension probably in the $6M AAV range. And Blake will need one if we don’t move him. Personally I’d move Blake, picks, and any prospect not named Nikishin/Nadeau/Artamonov for McTavish as I don’t see any any of the big time players moving teams next year. Realistically the Hurricanes should just target Gustavsson next year to fix the goal tending issue. But I’m all for moving Blake, picks, and prospects for McTavish this year. Ehlers - Aho - Jarvis Svechnikov - McTavish - Stankoven Martinook - Staal - Carrier Hall - Kotkaniemi - Robinson Jost - Jankowski Slavin - Miller Nikishin - Chatfield Gostisbehere - Walker Reilly Andersen Kochetkov I’d do Blake, Felix-Unger-Sorum, and 27 2nd for McTavish.
