who cares. the world will end in 2012 so we will not enjoy the #1 pick anyway

we will get to enjoy it up until december 23rd when the mayan calander ends. and it just ends when its the end of an "epoch." the last time it ended was the same year the conquistadors landed in mexico, that was an "end" of an epoch for them. It probably just means that at the end of 2012 intelligent aliens are confirmed which will be the changing of this "epoch"

Screw the lockout.. just to go after Luck.. not worth it to me.. Luck could be all hype and be another bust.. Look what happened to Jay Locker. he was suppose to be #1 last year now look where he sits on the board.. The same could be said for LUck next year time will tell.. But screw a lock out just for one damn player.

I am excited to see what the new coaching staff can do..since it seemed to be poor and predictable play calling by Davidson and staff. There also seemed to be no QB development and the O-line was pretty beat up with Otah out. The offense just looked disorganized like they never practiced.. Hopefully a new staff will get these guys ready for gameday

Would you rather the Panthers win 4-6 games next year, lose the chance to draft Luck and be stuck with Clausen? Andrew Luck is a franchise changer like Peyton Manning. It would be nice for the Panthers to be the franchise he changes. But clearly to people like you it's all about "win now" even though we clearly suck right now. You've got to think about it long term.

    • You’re playing madden we’re talking real football stuff…. He does have you seen his special on internet he def thinks he’s getting paid
    • Without the team having an identity kinda hard to predict what they value.  They either are really trying to build a balanced team, or preparing for another swing at qb if Bryce doesn’t pan out. Seems like we value the o line but the $ spent there has been underwhelming besides Lewis, you could say it’s because of injuries but still hasn’t been worth the investment. as already stated, the whole handling of Bryce young as a whole has been ass backwards, we spent the years we’re supposed to take advantage of having a qb with a lower cap hit, building the team up to be adequate. now It appears, key word appears, the saints have done it correctly, which is painful to even think about. Regardless, I hope the front office has paid attention to qb contracts recently, such as Tua, Kyler, Daniel jones(pre colts) and don’t settle for subpar qb play at franchise qb rates
    • This is the flaw in your logic.  Cutting 3 of our best players will somehow move us from whatever we are to "compete". Even the most Young super fans are not predicting a ceiling above top 10-12, and that will not nearly cut it.  Someone will need to break the log jam of QBs getting nothing or North of 50. Our qb is at best a middle ground, lets hope it will be us that also manage to pay the worth at about 100 over 3 years.  And before you jump me, yes that is only of he improves.
