Cutler getting ripped apart by NFL players

I know MJD can talk about him maybe not the other players but, MJD played hurt and he is the work horse for jags.

Its strange he stood up the whole game I think he gave up and his injury was an excuse if Byron Leftwich can play when his lineman had to carrie him during his college days I think cutler could of still try to help his team win.

MJD sat out plenty of games with playoffs on the line so he should shut his little mouth.

I have had knee injuries as well as hamstring injuries where I could stand or even jog in straight line but any other sort of movement would result in the knee just giving out. there are lots of scenarios where he could stand but be unable to play.

If i were him i would hold a press conference after his MRI and start calling out people. Especially that idiot Deion Sanders

This. You can actually do a lot of normal activities with a knee injury but nothing in football is normal. Planting, twisting, bending, quick movements, etc are all very dangerous for the injury and would likely cause more harm than good for the Bears.

I thought we were over this foolish Black vs White QB talk on this board...Move on.

Not as long as a few posters remain. The Mods got pretty lazy with the warnings/bannings and it's only a few people that cause it all.

Bottom line, anyone who calls anyone out via twitter or whatever on whether or not they are healthy enough to play in a game is BS and should get the sh*t kicked out of them publicly.

I would have at the very least asked for some ice to be taped onto the knee, gotten a pair of crutches, and watched the game from the sideline.

Cutler does not care what people think of him, but this would have been one time to be a little careful about how he looked.

God knows i hate the Bears but damn Cutler couldn't you have least given a rats ass on the sidelines, do knee injuries hurt your brain and ego that bad you can't help out Todd Collins and the THIRD STRING guy in the NFC championship game

Basically, I'm not questioning his injury and whether he could compete, I'm questioning his heart. If that had happened to Manning your damn right he would have been coaching the hell out of that backup

But there is always Cutler's personailty on the sideline.... Rather they are up my 30 or down by 30 he always look un interested.... that's just his personality. Don't knock the man because he does not show emotions or act the way you would want him to in every situation.

"Cutler cried when told about player's criticism of his toughness"

Boy, there's a headline you don't want your name in :(

When Jake Delhomme was yelling and cursing on the field, people complained that he should calm down and act like a professional. Now we have Jay Cutler, who apparently only has one facial expression, and people are criticizing him because he doesn't look like he cares.

I'm hardly a Cutler fan, but man alive. You just can't win here, I guess :sosp:

Cutler appeared genuinely hurt when asked about the comments, saying: "No comment on that." He then turned his back to reporters, fiddled with some things on a shelf and bit his lip as tears welled. He had been battered and beaten during the early part of the season[. ...] Yet he never complained or pulled himself.

BHAHAHAHAAHAHHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!

I can relate to this on a couple levels... I was one of the "cryers" on my basketball team, so I'm not knocking him for that. I also was one of the players who generally tried to not show emotion while I was out on the floor, unless it was good (cheering, yelling, screaming after big plays). But, when you generally act like an a-hole on the field and through your actions during your career, not many people are gonna feel sorry for you. There's a reason everyone is piling on even before the extent of the injury was known, not many people care for the guy, and he has a reputation.

And as far as why this is happening, it is kind of sad because I watched him play games this year where he literally got the crap beat out of him, and he kept getting up every time. I did question his concussion earlier in the year, as it seemed like similar circumstances when he left that game.

The problem is that guys like Rivers played on a torn ACL, Adrian Peterson played weeks with a torn or partially torn knee ligament (can't remember if it was the MCL or the other outer ligament). The Bears staff are gonna take up for him and say what they have to say, but I've seen him show a lot more emotion when he was drawing a 15-yard penalty for cussing out a ref and acting like an ass than he did to get back in the game yesterday.

Part of the reason he may have been crying could've been because he finally "gave in" toughness wise... He took all those beatings throughout the year, and this one he thought he could bow out and nobody would say anything. He didn't just look uninterested, he looked like a defeated man who didn't want to be there.

Not sure why Bears fans are so pissed about this. Its not like Jay was doing much anyway. At least Caleb got the offense alive and made a game of it.

Yeah, some might say Jay wouldn't have thrown those interceptions but Caleb had the GB D on their heels...Jay didn't.

Once GB fans come back to earth they should have a beef with the coaches and the players about their 4th quarter defense effort and game planning. WTF? Chicago's OL has improved over the season but it is still not elite and why they didn't blitz Caleb like hell I just don't get it.

Exactly. If he was not injured, he should have been pulled earlier. He was able to do NOTHING with the offense. I know that is not all his fault, but you MUST make a change when things are not working.
