Gta v?

GTA4 Multiplayer was a failure. As was Niko and his entire story. I just got sick of that story and stopped playing the missions 50% of the way through.

My vote would be to redo San Andreas for Xbox360. I still have this game for the original Xbox, but the graphics suck!

I also agree that a reboot of GTA3 would be nice.

Perhaps Rockstar will encompass Xbox live this time, and do a better job at the multiplayer platform. How awesome would it be to do co-op missions with people? Or Team Deathmatch!?!?

Too long and open ended? you mean you get too much for your money? GTA series is fuging legendary and I hope it stays the same. the original really wasn't that good but how can you argue with 4, 3 or the best ever vice city? They were master peices! The only thing I want is a bigger map and even more personable relationship simulations. More similations in general, like maybe owning a house and cars and building a mansion and to be able to do it selling drugs or catching bad guys up to you sort of thing. I love GTA, the game is awesome. GTA is so much a better game than red dead, which was horrible. Why would you settle for an even more linear game. Hugely open games with mass exploration and endlessness value is what GTA is all about. If they could somehow encompass co-op they would be even more amazing.

Somebody didn't play Red Dead.

San Andreas had co-op drive-by missions.

I've read/heard the past 3 years that the next one was going to be placed in western Europe I.E. England.

Have you been to London? Its not a very driveable city. I would assume Paris would be a better choice, from a vehicle standpoint. I don't want the game locale to become too gimmicky like those arcade racing games in the 1990s.

When Rockstar figures out how to incorporate some sort of multiplayer into the game, that is when the poo is gonna hit the fan.

Yeah Rockstar's mulitplayer blew on GTA, but they showed they have a clue in Red Dead with the Posses and gang shootouts. It still isn't the best system, but it was a definite improvement.

Paris is actually as bad as London if not worse. I do wish they bring back Planes and a freaking parachute.. Sandbox games are usually fun, I do wish they'd fix some of the stuff with online party mode.

They have a parachute in the espansions.

I'd rather drop planes for improvements in driving, etc.

And I actually liked the GTA4 story. I probably played more GTA over the years than most people and don't have a real "favorite."

Red Dead is not a bad game, I think someone said that. I put in a good bit of hours on there (haven't played undead nightmare though).

I put in GTAIV the other day and the graphics seemed really, really outdated to me.... crazy.

Wasn't Red Dead created on the same engine as GTA IV?

What they will probably do:

GTA V in Japan. Tie in some of the Yakuza characters Make Tokyo into a huge digital light show, drifting galore, horrible little modified hondas, spoilers, sword play and motorcycles. Story about a young American brought in and shifting his allegiance between the Yakuza and underground gang circles. Basically F&F Tokyo Drift. Snore...vomit.

What I wish they would do:

GTA V in Brasil. It's perfect. You've got a high crime rate and a huge car-jacking and kidnapping epidemic. You've got gorgeous white sandy beaches, beautiful people, a very urban metropolitan area, a lush Carnivale culture, samba music, and then the stark contrast of the Favela, thousands of acres of corrugated metal shanty towns rampant with drugs and crime. Not to mention the largest gap between rich and poor anywhere in the world. So you've got corruption in the wealthy urban areas, and robbery and gang murder in the poor areas. The game writes itself.

    • We are in a unique situation here. Just my opinion. Three things: Moton’s playing health has been gradually declining as he is aging, while his contract is a drag on the payroll.  Something will give with him sooner than later but I think 2026 could be it.  So.. need a right tackle by 2027. At the latest.    Icky’s individual situation is unique as well. They would have had an extension done by now if not for the injury. We only have him for this year. With no assurance he will ever be the same player.  It would be reckless just to assume. Now we have Walker for one year. And that is a major relief. Maybe he is the answer, but the team that knows him best let him go and it was cheap for us to sign him. So how much did they value him?    We look to be needing two tackles by 2027.  And have poo for depth this year as well. So anyway we could draft a guy for 2027 RT and groom him this year, and see how Icky does, and act as needed in 2027. Spread out filling the two holes over 2 years.    Then I remember, hey if Bryce doesn’t get a Lot more consistent do they extend him? Hoping not, if he isn’t really good.    So then we are looking at the 2027 draft which people say is gonna be loaded with QBs. If we need a LT and a QB what is the pick gonna get spent on?   Taking into account the recovery success rates cited here on the Icky surgery, you might want to plan for him to not be the same player. rather than assume he will be and get caught with your pants down.  It is a tough situation.    And factor in that it is critically important to protect this QB, always, but especially this year where it is said to be make or break. And how you might feel about that.    All of it points to a real possibility that these things converge in the negative, like Bruce sucks and Icky is not the same. In that case if you want to be assured of getting LT secured, the only place you can do that through the could be very well be 2026 1st round.     For me, I would like to err on the side of caution.  Cover for these outcomes. It wouldn’t be fun. Added benefit is if we do have a tackle go down this year we will have a guy there. Because I don’t know what we have now.
    • I agree. In a perfect world I wouldn’t want to draft another WR, but in this draft it’s fine based on the value of who will be there at #19.  All of the top tier guys worth pick #19 at other positions of need will be long gone. Only exception is Dillon Thieneman, but he’s almost a shoe in for the Vikings as the Harrison Smith replacement. Some posters on here want to draft an OT just to check a box without realizing the concerns and risk that comes along with said player. Sounds like XL to me… desperately drafting need… KC is a pretty safe player.  Produced all 3 years in college and last year in the SEC vs a lot of top corners in this years draft. He single handily dropped the South Carolina CB Brandon Cisse’s draft stock with how bad he abused him.   Sometimes it’s best to try and hit a double instead of going for the home run. This draft screams “go for the double”. Esp in the first.
    • Look at what the Bears have done with Caleb Williams, drafting playmaking WR's and TE's and making it easier for him to operate the offense. Conception is perfect for what the offense needs (speed and someone who can make defenders miss) and as today, April 11th, I think he's the pick @19
