Could Rosario be our F-Back?

Since we are more then likely going to be running a Norv Turner version of the Coryell system. Why cant Rosario be our F-back. He can play FB,WR,and TE. Seems the perfect fit for his talents to me.

Valid point, though "F-Back" in this system isn't quite a traditional fullback, if that's what you're thinking. It's more of just another word for "H-Back".

Hoover would have been a good choice for a lot like that a few years back.

I'm assuming your talking more of an H-Back ala Cooley in Washington. I'm not sure he's really physical enough to be much more than a strictly pass catching TE.

H-back is used more for blocking then a F-back is. We used H-backs all the time with Fox.

One of the big deals on this offense will be creating mismatches as much as possible. If you think Rosario is capable of that, he's your guy.

Well I am not saying he is great but he has solid hands and speed. His blocking is not as bad as everyone makes out either. For that position I think he is the most complete. Barndige is weak at blocking and king is to slow to line up at WR.

Henning liked the F-Back when he was in Carolina, Chud liked using the Tight End more when he was in Cleveland. So we probably won't see another Goings-type here, but we'll try and find a Walls.

why wouldn't we? he's under contract and he does a good job, esp. for being in there only 2 years. this is a job that takes years to master and he can have a career as long as hoover's easily.
