Im on FB.

I think FB has its place, but i dont use it much. I post a status update occasionally, usually deleted when i sober up. Probably get on there once every two weeks on average.

I hate getting friend requests from people i havent seen on 10-20 years for the most part. Chances are, if we havent spoken or communicated in 10+ years there is a reason. Not necessarily a bad thing, its just the way life is. So why do i want to be your friend on FB?

I currently have 23 unanswered friend requests from people i have known.

How many do you have..

Am i being an asshole?

No, I've declined many Facebook requests. I even got a friend request from someone I beat up very badly in High School. I'd think a black eye and broken nose would send a message that we aren't friends, and probably aren't gonna be friends.

What did you think facebook was for when you signed up?

If someone you don't want to catch up with offers to friend you, you can politely decline and that person will never know. I've done it many times. Then there are people that I liked, but circumstances split us up, and it's fun hearing about old times or, maybe you moved away and it's fun hearing about how things have changed there.

    • Bryce and Dave will determine how many games this team wins next year. It’s not on the WRs. The RBs. LBs. This is about 2 things: 1. Can Bryce continue to come up big in the few key downs that decide most games?  2. Can Canales evolve his play calling to counter punch like the big boys do. Half time adjustments.  teams that score 30+ points on the regular win more games than not. That’s on Bryce and Dave. The offense is top 10 at every position group, save for TE and QB. A baller TE is gravy but not crucial when the receivers are dudes.  The defense is the defense. It’ll be better this season, hopefully by a large margin, but Dave/Bryce is really where it’s at.
    • Normally I'd wholeheartedly agree with this. But I feel like teams figured out this offense after the Raiders game. Bryce was so inept the first 2 games that we couldn't really even run the offense. Dalton's first game showed what we had. But after that game, coverages got a lot tighter and windows were smaller. When Bryce came back in, his ability to extend plays made a big difference. It's really difficult to stop a QB that can beat/escape 1on1 tacklers. It puts a lot of pressure on the defense when you blitz. And he was completing throws in tight coverage with anticipation. Point being Bryce wasn't throwing to wide open receivers that were schemed open by the offense. Occasionally yes. But not often.
    • With the additions we've made to our roster combined with the state of the division and the conference as a whole there is no excuse for this team not to make a legitimate push for 8-9 wins. Anything less is honestly inexcusable. There will be no more free passes for being a doormat in this iteration of the league where even mediocre teams are competing for playoff spots.
