he's really not shown me enough to consider him the viable-starting-every-down-safety-valve we need

yeah i know. kings listed at the number two though. i think barnidge could be that tight end that rivera and chud are looking for. i'd like to see him get his shot before we waste money a FA.

anybody who's contract ran out isn't listed on the depth chart it doesn't mean anything.

As for barnidge I don't think I've ever seen him make a catch over the middle and he's always looked stiff.

He does look stiff, but he has good speed and hands. He was a weapon at L'ville in the passing game.
